I WAS FIRST INTRODUCED TO CROSSFIT BY MY GOOD FRIEND, DR. BECKY. SHE TOLD ME TO TRY THE CLASSES AND THAT I WOULDN’T REGRET JOINING
What made you decide to join RCFEW :
I DIDN’T JOIN RIGHT AWAY I WAS A LITTLE SCARED. MY FRIEND NANCY AND I RAN INTO BECKY ONE NIGHT AND NANCY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF EXERCISE PLAN SHE WAS PARTICIPATING IN, BECAUSE SHE LOOKED AMAZING. WHEN I CONFIRMED CROSSFIT EAST WOODBRIDGE, NANCY EVENTUALLY CONVINCED ME WE WERE JOINGING TOGETHER. NO TAKE BACKS LOL
Favourite Lifts/ Wods?
MY FAVORITE LIFT IS DEFINITELY DEADLIFT AND POWER CLEAN (IT’S THE ONLY CLEANING I ACTUALLY ENJOY, LOL) FAVORITE WOD HAS TO BE HELEN AND ANNIE , THEY MAKE ME SWEAT HARD

HAS TO BE JUGGLING RESPONSIBILITES OF MOM AND WIFE, WHILE TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. IT’S A CONSTANT BATTLE TO KEEP EVERYTHING BALANCED.
Do you have a mentor, or someone you look up to? If so who? DEFINITELY MY MOTHER. SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT INSPIRATION TO ME. DESPITE HER STRUGGLES RAISING 4 CHILDREN AND MANAGING A HOUSEHOLD, SHE ALWAYS SEEMED TO HOLD IT TOGETHER. SHE IS ONE STRONG, TOUGH MAMMA

What music I like listening to while working out: LOVE THE LATIN BEATS AND THE OCCASIONAL METALLICA
I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE NO REGRETS JOINING RCEW 3 YEARS AGO. WHEN I STARTED I DIDN’T REALLY HAVE A GAME PLAN. I HAVE ALWAYS EXERCISED AND TRIED NEW PROGRAMS HOWEVER, CROSSFIT ESPECIALLY AT RCEW REALLY HAS ME HOOKED. THE ENVIRONMENT IS WELCOMING AND I NEVER FEEL OUT OF PLACE. EVERYONE IN THE GYM FROM THE COACHES TO THE MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS ENCOURAGING AND SUPPORTIVE. I SEEK TO BE A STRONGER VERSION OF MYSELF NOT ONLY FOR SELF GAIN, BUT TO ENCOURAGE MY DAUGHTER AND SONS TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE AND TO NEVER GIVE UP. ITS ALL WORTH IT. I HAVE BECOME STRONGER AND FASTER AND HAPPIER IN AND OUT OF THE BOX. I KNOW I AM MAKING A GOOD IMPRESSION ON MY CHILDREN, IT’S A GOOD FEELING TO HEAR YOUR KIDS SAY “MY MAMMA IS SO STRONG, SHE DOES CROSSFIT AND WHEN I GROW UP I’M GOING TO BE STRONG LIKE HER TOO”. THAT’S THE ICING ON THE CAKE !
